Neurodivergent dating: the site for atypical brains

Atypik'Love is the dating site for neurodivergent people: ADHD, autism, gifted, HSP, dys, BPD. Love without masking.

Mainstream apps are calibrated for an average neurotypical brain: quick small talk, implicit social codes, endless swiping, emotional intensity you're meant to hide. For neurodivergent people — ADHD, autistic, gifted, HSP, dys, BPD, OCD — it's a permanent ordeal. You mask, translate, exhaust yourself, and go home alone.

Atypik'Love starts from a different premise: your atypical brain isn't a flaw to hide, it's information that attracts the right people.

Why a neurodivergent platform changes everything

  • Informed community. Members know the vocabulary, specifics, variations — you don't have to explain what "masking" or "sensory overload" means.
  • Embraced neurodivergent diversity. ADHD, autism, gifted, HSP, dys, BPD, OCD, Tourette's: all neurodivergences are welcome, including combinations (many people have several).
  • Profiles full of useful info. Everyone states their needs, hypersensitivities, rhythm, special interests. You match on real affinities.

How it works

You tick one or more atypies (or none), detail your interests, your preferred communication mode.

Conversations open at match, no pressure. You can pause, use silent hours, set message limits — regulation is built in, not optional.

Tips for dating when you're neurodivergent

  • State your functioning in the profile. "I'm ADHD/autistic/gifted, I need time to reply, I love deep conversations" — that's a filter, not a flaw.
  • Don't mask from day one. Masking drains you. If you can't be yourself on date one, the relationship starts on a misunderstanding.
  • Propose adapted frames. Quiet venue, clear time, activity that suits you. The "noisy Friday-night bar" isn't mandatory.
  • Explore intersections. Many neurodivergent people stack (ADHD + gifted, autism + HSP, dys + ADHD). Look for profiles who understand your combos.

FAQ

What does "neurodivergent" actually mean?

Neurodivergent describes a person whose brain works differently from the majority (neurotypical) norm. It includes ADHD, autism/ASD, gifted/high IQ, highly sensitive people (HSP), dys conditions, BPD, OCD, Tourette's. Atypik'Love welcomes all these neurodivergences, diagnosed or self-identified.

Does my partner have to be neurodivergent too?

No. Many members look for informed neurotypical partners or for different neurodivergent profiles (e.g. ADHD with autistic). What matters is understanding, not an identical label.

Do I need an official diagnosis to sign up?

No. Self-identifications are welcome. Many people discover their neurodivergence as adults without yet having access to formal assessment. You're legitimate here.
